Jewellery Care & Safety Disclaimer
At Éra, we take pride in the quality of our pieces. However, jewellery is delicate by nature and requires proper care to maintain its appearance and structural integrity over time.
1. Product Care & Maintenance
To ensure your jewellery stays in peak condition, please follow these guidelines:
-
Avoid Moisture: Remove all jewellery before showering, swimming, or exercising. Exposure to water, chlorine, and sweat can cause plating to wear or metals to tarnish.
-
Chemical Exposure: Apply perfumes, lotions, and hairsprays before putting on your jewellery. Chemicals in these products can react with metals and stones.
-
Storage: When not in use, store your pieces in a cool, dry place—ideally in the original Éra pouch or a lined jewellery box to prevent scratching and oxidation.
-
Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently polish your items. Avoid abrasive cleaners or ultrasonic cleaners unless specified for your specific gemstone.
2. Natural Variations
Because we use sterling silver and different rhinestones, please note:
-
Slight variations in color, shape, and texture are characteristic of handmade jewellery and are not considered defects.
-
Over time, gold plating will naturally wear down to the base metal. The speed of this process depends on your skin's pH levels and how well the care instructions are followed.
3. Safety & Allergy Warning
-
Material Sensitivity: While our pieces are [Nickel-Free / Lead-Free / Hypoallergenic], it is the customer's responsibility to be aware of their own skin sensitivities or allergies. Éra is not liable for any skin reactions or irritations.
-
Choking Hazard: Our jewellery contains small parts and is not intended for children. Keep all items out of reach of infants and toddlers.
-
Usage: Jewellery should be removed before sleeping to avoid accidental breakage or injury.
4. Limitation of Liability
Éra is not responsible for damage caused by improper care, accidents (such as dropped items or snagged chains), or normal wear and tear. If an item is damaged due to a manufacturing fault, please refer to our Return Policy to initiate a claim within 30 days of delivery.
